amanda "mandii" taylor-leigh scritchfield is a sixteen year old american dancer/singer-songwriter/model/author/ poet/comedian/choreographer. she studies dance for over several hours a week, and teaches dance for over three. she studies ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, hip hops 4 & 5, and modern. she also works with worship and lyrical dance. mandii writes songs and poetry every day, and is learning to play the guitar. she is an avid reader and is currently participating in the national youth fine arts competition in five different categories (songwriting, poetry, solo worship dance, worship dance troupe, and large group humanvideo).
mandii will be a high school graduate as of june 12th, of this year! that's right, she is graduating two years early. she will be taking a year off to dance, work, and decide where she wants to attend college. she is currently looking into one school in particular, but has not released any official details yet.
mandii has been involved in her church's missionette program since before she started school. she is an official honor rainbow, honor daisy, honor prim, honor star, and honor friend; she is also a bronze and silver medalist. she will receive her gold medal of honor next year, along with becoming an honor girls only graduate and completing the entire missionettes program.
she has competed in the national youth fine arts competition four times before, is currently in her fifth year of competition, and she has competed in the missionettes fine arts competition five years. last year, she proceeded to the national level of competition in orlando, florida in the national youth fine arts competition, and missed winning by less than a point. she is currently moving onto the second round of competition in this year's competition.
mandii co-wrote a book at the age of twelve, alongside her friend jenelle. the book was published, and a sequal was being written, but due to some disagreements between the authors, it has stopped being written. but mandii is currently working on her first solo book, which is hopefully to be released this summer.
