Remember when. . . .
Mandii Update!
As many of you know, I have been preparing for the Fine Arts competition. What most of you don't know is that the first level was on the 20th of last month! I entered in five categories and am continuing in ALL five!! :) :) I entered in: Songwriting, Poetry, Solo Worship Dance, Worship Dance Troupe, and Large Group Humanvideo. The next level will be at the very end of this month and the very beginning of next month! ^_^ I am SO excited!
I don't think many of you know that I have changed the title of my upcoming book. It will be announced soon! I have been writing chapters in my book, scattered!!! :) Which means, I am writing chapters from each part of the book. I am pretty sure there will be at least thirty chapters! What I LOVE about this book is that it's based on a true story. Based on my life!! (: I can't wait for all you to read it!!
I will be a graduate of 2010! :) I just started my senior year a few weeks a go and I am SO busy with all of this schoolwork! But I know it'll be totally worth it. It's been a tough decision to graduate at sixteen but I'm glad with my decision :)
Dance is crazy! As most of you know, I am in several dance classes this year, including an advanced Hip Hop!! So it's pretty intense. But, don't get me wrong, I love it! (: But it's prettyyy crazy, especially Wednesdays! I go from 5:15-9:30! Then Thursdays, I am just 6:15-9:30. It's amazing and crazy :) My recital will be on the 23rd of June!
I have Fine Arts practice every Sunday afternoon from 2:00-7:00. I know it may seem like a long time to some of you, but it's really not even close to being enough time. It seems as though we always, ALWAYS need MORE practice. It's preetttty mad crazy.
I've been babysitting one to three times a week, which is pretty wild being that it takes away from school time :-/ But hey! I need the money and I love my cousin! :) AND my aunt just got a router for me, so now I can do school WHILE I'm babysitting!!!! :) :)
I will be attending a Convention with my youth group RIGHT after Sectional Fine Arts = ) So that'll be fun, and I've joined a life group. It's every Monday night and I always ride down with my friends Mackenzie and Tanner. Which reminds me! I've made tons of new friends, which is awesome = ) because it's something I've needed for such a long time.
I've been learing to play the guitar, as you know, and I've started to write my very first song on it too = ) And speaking of songs, I've been writing a lot lately! AND poetry too!! :) I've even entered one in the Fine Arts competition! And a song, as you should know (:
I've been having tons of photoshoots lately and have taken some at all of my lastest compeitions = ) I'll try and post some up later!! Also, I'm permittin' it up!!!!! ;)

2010: A new year.... Mandii: A new girl! = )
Mandii is currently doubling grades eleven and twelve in order to be a graduate of 2010 (Which is three years early). She is also preparing for The National Youth Fine Arts Competition next month, in which she will be participating in five to six different categories. Though, she is excited for everything, she has confessed that she is most ecstatic about the category 'songwriting'. "My friend Naomi, plays the piano and sings, so she is putting music to it and is going to perform it for me!! When I first heard my song with music, It was just the best feeling in the whole world!" Says Mandii. She will also be writing a poem, performing a solo worship dance, a small worship dance with her friend, Lexzii, and a large group humanvideo with nine other friends. It is unannounced whether or not she will be in any more categories.
As many of you know, Mandii is writing another book. She just announced that she will be changing the title of her book, due to some changes made to the story and plot. The book will not only be focusing in on her relationship with ex-boyfriend, Sam, but also on the teenage years before, she feels her story will help some teenage girls with everything, she also added that hearing it from a sixteen year old may be easier than hearing it from a parent.

A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
I will soon be removing all of Kara's photos, information, blog, and such as soon as I get the chance. I will keep Kandy's name the same. It is not changing to Mandy. This site has been known as Kandy since it's premiere a year and a half a go and that's the way it is going to stay.
I hope and pray that everyone will take these news in a good way, rather than a bad way. And if you're wondering why I am doing this, I will tell you right now rather than cause more confusion.
Kara turned out to be just like Kaylee. The type of friend that is all talk and no action. Kara and me just didn't work out as friends, just as me and Kaylee did not. Though, Kaylee is still my family and I still love her, and Kara is my sister in Christ, therefore I must love her too.
For most of you who have been with us from the beginning knows that this has been a long time coming. I think we all knew that one day Kandy would only have my name on it.

Kara is my best friend, and will be a year as of December :D She is awesome and such a sweet and genuine person..<3 I am soo lucky to have her and now Kandy and you guys are too!!

Summer IS finally HERE!!!! {: :) ♥~♥
This summer is going to sooo super amazingly busy for me!! *gives excited look* As you all know, I have continued on to the third and final level in the Youth Fine Arts competiton that I'm in, with my worship dance. Well, I am going to be redoing some of the cheography and working with my dance teacher, for the competiton in August! In Orlando, Florida! So wish me luck!
I am kicking off this summer, with my dance recital! I will be in six rountines this year and I am soo excited! I will be in the dances; Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, Hip-Hop, and Modern. I have a bunch of extra practices and rehearsals and it's less than one month away! So, I am pretty much dancing every single day! {: Which is just the way I like it!! (:

Mandy's mom is in the hospital........
Here is a picture of Mandy's mom, Mauri. Mauri is in the hospital, because she hemoraged and had lost more then half the blood in her body! She is doing better now. Tonight, is her second night in the hospital, not sure it'll be her last. Please pray for Mandy's mum, Mauri! Keep her in your prayers every day! We have loved them from the very beginning, back in 1999. When they were almost called Jump Start.... They are now known as Jump5. They were my favorite group, and will forever sing in my heart. I miss you Brittney Hargest! I miss you Brandon Hargest! I miss you Lesley Moore! I miss you Chris Fuden! And I miss you too Libby Hodges! You were the most amazing remodels that anyone could ever have, in inspiration, spirituality, godliness, modesty, and so much more. You guys will forever be with me, just as you were when I was first getting in music, becoming a teenager, and everything else that I have went through. You have been there for me with your music, inspiring me to have the dreams that I have today. When I met you for the very first time, back in 2003, it was and still is the tied for the best expirence of my life..It's tied with the second time I met you, last year. In 2007. Although, I am very, very sad to see you go, Jump5, you can be sure that I will still support you in years and years to come. Whether, it be in Jump5, or in your future careers. I hope that they are just as great as Jump5 was for you. I love you guys, and would just like to thank-you for what you have done and will do in my life.
